Today The Whole School Council Met. Over The Past Few Weeks its been difficult to arrange meetings due to end of year exams and Year 11 Leaving The School. But We are Back, A New Chair Has Been Elected and Meetings are now every Thursday!


Today We Got Information from The C.O.P.S Student Voice Day Yesterday! And Were Presented with a lot of new ideas for the school, These were varied... Ideas About the new makeover of the School Pond. Also a favourite idea amongst the reps was to set up a "Lounge" One of the other schools at the meeting spoke of a Bully Base and we liked it. Our one would be slightly different, It would be a place where people can meet new friends, Relax and Enjoy themselves without any worries or concerns, and this is currently being followed up.
We Also Talked about an Obstacle Course on Our Field. The Thought of an adventure playground seemed very low with pupils aged 11-16. So It was cahnged and into an obstacle course which can be used in breaks and lunch, Possibly Sports Day, In PE Lessons and even to the community. We will hold further discussion on that too.

And Lastly we went through the Upper School Council agenda From Thursday of Last Week, And We managed to get information from all of the reps on the subject of a new menu for the school canteen and even fun ideas for a more healthy side of school including things like a salad bar. We have yet to meet with the Head Of Health and See if we can take our ideas further!
